just got backk from LTC.
and i finally understand why they say CJ's PE is mad. And trust me, it gets 10x worse esp in leadership camps. i'm just so so tired.
[6th june]had a full day games sessions and some LT lectures here and there. was already pretty tiring but it's 'survivable'. had half an hr to bathe in which i suspect they're not planning for us to bathe, how gross. lights out at 11.30pm. yea they fed us A LOT today. but it's not for a gd reason i found out..
[7th june]woke up at 5am. have to be down at like 5.30 for breakfast. 6am set off for Changi Sea Sports. Sea rafting, everyone was enjoying it, was fun and thanks to the scout boy and girl guider in our team were we able to tie very nice knots, even the instructors were impressed. rafting in the water was fun, and occassional shouts of, "I SEE A JELLYFISH!" would scare everyone onboard. bah, but it was really funny. lunch--dry food rations. there, i told you they had a reason for feeding us so much on the 1st day.
after lunch..
Pulau Ubin.
15km of walk/run/hop/drag your feet/drag your body/try not to sleep/singing silly songs. it was really hard, tiring and everything that we experienced was just out to push us to the full limits. People broke down, eventually got tired but what really impressed and touched me, was the part when hui hui insisted that she wanted to carry on with herself and even refused everyone's offer to carry her one ton bag. she almost cried through it all. but yes, in the end we made it. runnin back just 3 mins before the official time allowed for the trekking was flat down. i really love my group. GROUP 12 you guys ROCK!!! :)
lots more briefing back at sch, by that time we were all too tired to even concentrate. 10.10 started our free personal time which also means bath time till lights out at 12midnight. so so tired.
[8th june]woke up at like 6.05am and realised that we had to assemble at like 6.30?? crap. all of the girls rushed, the guys weren't even awake yet. and still, we're one of the last to arrive at the grandstand. which gave us lotsa scolding and more pumping. played recreational games, unfortunately it rained real hard though we went back in the rain like twice to carry on playing. girls wearing white today (like me) were in a serious condition of overexposure but i guess no one really bothered that much.
then games was cancelled cause of the rain.
changed back to full school uniform, had to wear back out soggy shoes, the teachers couldn't care less. had talks, and a prayer session in which most of us closed our eyes and for the first time, were so deeply in prayer everyone didn't open their eyes.. cool? see what fatigue does to you?
more talks and discussions.. blah blah then it was DINNER. the BEST dinner so far, it was a buffet. really happy and all. oh and did i mention that every single one of us was judged during the course of the 3 days. how scary! haha. wrote something for our facil Victor. his famous song "ARE WE THERE YET?
ARE WE THERE YET?
HOW ABOUT NOW?
HOW ABOUT NOW?
ARE WE REALLY THERE YET?
ARE WE REALLY THERE YET?
HOW 'BOUT NOW?
HOW 'BOUT NOW??"-yes we're finally there now victor, and yes you ARE irritating. haha.
so much for everything. it's really a rough outline to what happened. im just SO SO freaking tired i can't move. abrasions everywhere, cuts, bruises, muscle aches, burnt skin and everything disgusting! eeew. i'm really tired. gotta go sleep now. can't take it. tired.
what a way to spend some wonderful 3 days!!
